About PAPO
One Voice for Filipino Patients
The Philippine Alliance of Patient Organizations (PAPO) is a coalition of patient organizations advocating for universal access to healthcare and allied services.
PAPO brings patient organizations together and works with government, healthcare professionals, academe, industry and civil society so that patient representation is organized, informed and consistent. As the umbrella of disease-specific patient groups in the country, the alliance carries a shared voice into councils, technical working groups and coalitions that shape Philippine health policy.

Philippine Patient Congress 2024
Held on August 29–30, 2024 at the Asian Development Bank, the Congress brought together patient advocates, caregivers, government, academe, healthcare professionals and the private sector to share insights, experiences and best practices — and to create a united call to action.
