Patient Advocacy
We help patients and organizations speak up for their rights — in clinics, in communities and in national policy spaces.
Empowered patients. Stronger communities. Better healthcare.
Our approach
PAPO has partnered with government agencies, private corporations, NGOs and other stakeholders to build the capacity of patients and the organizations that serve them.
Empowerment is practical work: understandable information, skills training, peer support, and real opportunities to participate. When patients understand their rights and their health system, they ask better questions, access the services available to them, and contribute meaningfully to how care is designed.

Programs
We help patients and organizations speak up for their rights — in clinics, in communities and in national policy spaces.

Helping patients read, question and use health information so they can make confident decisions.
Preparing patient representatives to contribute in technical working groups, councils and consultations.
Training, mentoring and leadership programs that strengthen the governance of patient organizations.
Collaborations with government agencies, private corporations, NGOs and health stakeholders nationwide.
